Best Cheat Day ever...

Flipper's in Fort Meyers Beach, Fla.

Dinner at Flippers has proven to be one of the best cheat days so far this year. Six months into the year, but well worth the wait. Pete and I went to dinner here on a recommendation from the locals at the hotel we stayed at on our trip to Fort Meyers this month. The drinks were sweet and refreshing and the sunset got better with every sip! We started our meal with the Campachena, which if you've never had it, it is a seafood ceviche served with chips and he had a super minty Mojito!

The special that night was the Grouper and I had the Seafood Trio with grilled shrimp, lobster tail and sea scallops! Wow! The scallops were so fresh they melted like butter. One of the best cheat meals I've had! Then it got even better with a Mango Creme Brulee, that we shared. What a great evening! One of the best spots for dinner and sunsets in Fort Meyers overlooking the bay.
